Comments from women have included:

What an exciting project! I have been looking for a way to connect with other women in business and “Who’s Who Directory of Women in eCommerce-2008″ is just what I envisioned!… I am always looking for other women in business to network with and share resources and see this as a great opportunity to expand my business to a new venture.” Julia Rhodes, Inventor – Kleen Slate

“Thank you for the opportunity to be a part of this brilliant initiative. I look forward to seeing the final product and to make contact with women around the world.” Michelle Driman, Trade Lateral

“This is a fantastic opportunity to help promote each other in our ecommerce businesses. Thank you for providing this great forum for women to connect and support one another.”  Leah Messina, Book Divas

Inclusion in the 2008 Edition of the Who’s Who Directory of Women in Ecommerce was open to woman-owned (at least 51%) companies and individuals who have been doing business via the WEB for at least one year prior to the date of publication.

The publication is unlike others of the same genre in that once accepted, each woman is given the opportunity to determine the category that best represents her business. The result is that this registry represents more than 200 professions/industries from the US, Canada, Europe, Africa, and Australia.

Each basic listing (FREE) includes the name of the individual, the name of her company, her company website URL and slogan or tagline.  Enhanced listings include additional contact information and a company logo (where available). In addition to the listings, there is a special report at the end of this directory entitled “Promoting Your Business on the WEB – 13 Strategies to Establish Your Brand, Get More Traffic, and Make More Money on the Internet.” It is filled with WEB 2.0 strategies and more to grow your business online (and off).

The 2008 Edition of the Who’s Who Directory of Women in Ecommerce  is published by The Women’s eCommerce Association, International – an organization whose mission is to “help women do MORE business on and off the WEB.” To contact the publisher, write Heidi Richards Mooney at P.O.
